TIMESTEP

At the University of Arizona, I was a TIMESTEP leader for the 2023–2024 academic year. TIMESTEP is the Tucson Initiative for Minoritized Student Engagement in Science and Technology Program at the University of Arizona. I volunteered to lead meetings and discussions to help other undergraduates through the Physics and Astronomy majors. TIMESTEP provides resources including paid summer internships, application and resume editing, as well as panels with academic and industry experts.

Flandrau Planetarium

From April of 2021 to May of 2024, I was a Planetarium Operator and Science Center Interpreter at the Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium on the UArizona campus. I loved getting to share my passion for space with the public by leading full-dome shows like "Tucson Sky & Beyond" and "Touring the Solar System"!

Discovery Center of Idaho

The Discovery Center of Idaho is Idaho's only hands-on science center. Over the summer and winter of 2022–2023, I led both summer and winter STEM camps for K–12 kids at the Discovery Center, including "All About Slime!" as pictured here! I remember going to the Discovery Center as a kid myself, and it was very rewarding to help get the next generation interested in all kinds of science.
